The Vision Lab

Terms of use

Last updated 4 October 2026. Plain-language ground rules for using The Vision Lab.

What this is

The Vision Lab is an experimental product that is still being built. It may change, pause or stop, and features may be added or removed without notice. Don't rely on it for anything where losing the data would cause serious harm. Export or copy results you need to keep.

Using it well

  • Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, threatening, or that exposes someone's private information.
  • Don't try to game votes, such as using many devices or networks to push an idea. Limits are in place and may block you.
  • Don't try to break the site, scrape it, or look at other people's projects.
  • Organizers are responsible for who they invite and for how they use the results. Please tell participants what the project is for.

Your content

Ideas and comments belong to the people who write them. By adding them to a project you let the organizer and The Vision Lab store, show and analyse them for that project. Ideas reported by several people are hidden automatically, and we may remove content that breaks these rules.

Accounts

Keep your password private. You can ask us to close your account and delete your projects at any time.

No guarantees

The service is provided as it is. Rankings and analytics are a guide to what a group thinks, not a guarantee of any outcome, and decisions made using them are yours. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from using the service.
